The terms that govern your use of the TARKET app, website and services.

Acceptance of terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TARKET mobile application, our website and related services (the "Services"), operated by TARKET ("we", "us" or "our"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and capable of entering into a legally binding contract under Indian law to use the Services. By using the Services, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you meet these requirements.

Account usage & security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and the device used to access it. You agree to provide accurate registration details and keep them current, and you are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use or security concern. Accounts may not be shared, transferred or used for unlawful purposes.

Orders

When you place an order through the Services, you make an offer to purchase the selected items subject to availability and acceptance. We may accept or decline an order, in whole or in part, for reasons including unavailability, pricing errors, delivery limitations or suspected misuse. Order details and status are available in the app.

Pricing

Prices shown in the app are subject to change without prior notice and may vary based on availability, location and applicable taxes or charges. While we make every effort to display accurate pricing, errors may occasionally occur. If a pricing error is identified for an order, we may cancel the affected order and issue a refund where payment was made.

Payment terms

You agree to pay the total amount shown at checkout, including any applicable delivery charges and taxes, using the payment methods offered (which may include cash on delivery and online payment options). Online payments are processed by third-party payment gateways (such as Razorpay or Cashfree); by paying online you also agree to the applicable gateway's terms. TARKET does not store your full card, UPI or banking credentials. You are responsible for ensuring that the payment details you provide are accurate and that you are authorised to use the chosen payment method.

Product availability

All items are subject to availability. We may limit quantities, discontinue items or be unable to fulfil part of an order. If an ordered item is unavailable after an order is placed, we will inform you and refund the amount for the unavailable item where applicable.

Delivery limitations

Delivery is available only within serviceable areas as indicated in the app, daily between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM IST. Delivery timelines are estimates and may be affected by factors outside our control, such as weather, traffic, festivals or operational constraints. Please refer to our Shipping & Delivery Policy for details.

Cancellation rights

You may cancel an order before it has been packed and dispatched for delivery. Once an order is dispatched, out for delivery or contains perishable items being prepared, it may no longer be eligible for cancellation. Refunds for eligible cancellations are handled in accordance with our Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy.

User responsibilities

  • Use the Services only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms.
  • Provide accurate delivery information and be available to receive orders.
  • Do not misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Services.
  • Do not use the Services to engage in fraudulent, abusive or illegal activity.

Intellectual property

All content within the Services — including the TARKET name, logo, text, graphics, illustrations, software and design — is owned by or licensed to TARKET and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or create derivative works from any part of the Services without our prior written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TARKET shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order shall not exceed the amount paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TARKET and its team from any claims, losses or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Services or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of West Bengal, India.

Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
